  • NeSmith has lifted the .020 shim rule on valve spring setup . See rule below:
    A) After much research NeSmith Dirt Late Model Series officials, along with GM Officials, have determined on some cases that original factory cylinder heads and valve springs do not meet the required correct install height. To correct this, shimming will be allowed to meet the correct install heights listed in the chart below. These updates will be published in a forthcoming version of the GM Technical/ Specification Manual. Click on for Nesmith Racing Rules

  • Chris Johnson claims Super Pro Championship at Bristol Dragway and King of the Hill.
  • Tyler Jenkins claims Pro Outlaw Doorslammers Invitational crown at Jacksonville, NC with his EAGLE 762 equipped 63 Vette.
  • Cory Hedgecock Runner up at Bowling Green in the 10k Tenn-Truck Series with his Eagle Conventional Head 582.
  • Chad Hedgecock takes both Winner and Runner-Up at Knoxville Dragway points race on May 30
  • Tyler Jenkins claims Runner-Up at Steele International Dragway. Tyler is running an Eagle Racing Engines 762.
  • Shay Loveday, Track Owner of Knoxville, made it to the semis at Steele International Dragway for the $5000 Big Money Bracket Race. 
  • Mark Miles made it to the Quarterfinals in Steele, Alabama  where he fell victim to Shay Loveday from Knoxville Dragway, very close race
  • Tony Helms, wins in Richmond Virginia at the IHRA Sportsman National by running a  5.699, 136.40  def. John Dustin, Rockville, Md., dragster, 5.713, 131.04.
